Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 23, 2026
1. Introduction
At mypreorder, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use our platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about users of our platform, including:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, postal address, phone number, and payment information.
- Business Information: Business name, ABN/ACN, business address, and business contact details.
- Usage Data: Information about how you use our platform, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and time spent on those pages.
- Order Data: Information about orders processed through our platform, including order details, customer information, and transaction records.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you when you:
- Register for an account
- Subscribe to our services
- Process orders through our platform
- Contact our customer support
- Participate in surveys or promotions
We also collect information automatically as you navigate through our platform using cookies and similar technologies.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our platform
- Process transactions and send related information
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- Send administrative information, such as updates to our terms and policies
- Send marketing communications (with your consent)
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
- Protect against fraudulent or unauthorised transactions
- Comply with legal obligations
5. Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose your personal information to:
- Stores you order from: When you place an order, we provide your order details and the contact details you gave us to the store fulfilling it, so that it can prepare your order and deal with you about it. That store may hold those details in its own systems and may use them to contact you about its own offers, as described in section 6.
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data analysis, and customer service.
- Business Partners: With your consent, we may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products or services.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or respond to legal process.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Marketing Communications
You may receive marketing messages from us and from the stores you have ordered from. Where a store sends you offers or other marketing by email, SMS or app notification, the store is the sender of that message and decides who receives it and what it says; we transmit it on the store's behalf.
You can stop receiving marketing at any time. You can use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, reply STOP to any marketing SMS, or change your "Offers and news" preferences in your account, where you can turn off email, SMS and app notifications separately or mute an individual store. We will action your request within five working days, and usually much sooner. Stopping marketing does not stop messages about your orders, such as confirmations and notifications that an order is ready.
We keep a record of the marketing consents and opt-out choices we hold for you, of the marketing messages sent to you through our platform, and of any opt-out reported to us by a messaging provider. We keep these records because the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 (NZ) require the sender of a commercial electronic message to be able to demonstrate consent and to honour an opt-out. An opt-out you make is recorded against your account and continues to apply if a store later changes messaging provider.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
- The right to access your personal information
- The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to restrict or object to processing of your personal information
- The right to data portability
- The right to withdraw consent
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section.
10. Children's Privacy
Our platform is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
